About Us

Lou’s Apothecary and Simply Divine are built on one shared truth:

  What you put on your body, and what you surround yourself with, matters.

Some things take time to build.

Others come together when the timing is right and you recognize it.

With Donna and I, that was the case.

We met through the same farmers markets after the world shifted and slowed down. What started as conversation turned into collaboration, and from there, it grew naturally.

Myself, rooted in air and Donna fueled by fire. Different energies with the same drive to create something real.

Our core belief,  your body knows how to heal, it just needs the right support. Why over complicate something as basic as caring for the largest organ, your skin.

We’ve hit obstacles. We’ve made adjustments. And every challenge pushed us to learn more, to refine our craft, and to deepen our understanding of botanicals and how they work in harmony with the body.

Over time, that learning became its own kind of alchemy. Transforming simple, raw ingredients into products that are healing, functional, and intentional.

You need ingredients your body recognizes Your body already knows what to do. It recognizes real oils, raw butters, and plant-based ingredients far better than synthetic formulas designed to “fix” you.

So that’s what we use.

Unrefined butters that still hold their nutrients. Oils that absorb, nourish, and support the skin without suffocating it. Many of our products are made to be used more than one way as well. We choose scents to open your mind, natural ingredients to heal and moisturize. Everything we create is meant to support you as a whole.

And what we use doesn’t stop at your skin. Our candles are an extension of that.

Our candles are made with the same care and intention. Clean burning organic soy wax, beeswax hemp wicks, and vessels meant to be kept. Each one holds crystals, placed with purpose, so that what you’re lighting isn’t just a candle. It’s designed to take a moment, slow down, focus, and set something for yourself.

When it’s finished, you’re left with something you can keep; a reminder of that intention.
